The room, however, was far from the promised deluxe experience. it's small with very creaky floorboards. Frustratingly, there’s no conveniently located plug socket by the bed, making it awkward to charge devices. On the upside, the hotel showcased some impressive homemade local products, which added a unique touch to the stay.

I had a wonderful stay in room 1557, where I enjoyed the peaceful quiet of facing an internal courtyard, making it easy to recharge before heading out to explore famous sights, with St Paul's Cathedral just about 20 minutes' walk away, and the iconic Barbican Centre only a short stroll away, providing ample opportunities for city adventures and park views.

Good breakfast but needs an upgrade

Stayed for a couple of nights in a standard room. The breakfast was tasty, especially the buffet! Staff were friendly too. But man, the room was a bit tired, could really use a revamp. Didn't get to check out the gym or pool, but kinda wish I had. If I asked for eggs, they couldn't figure it out.

Had an awesome time away with my friends! We loved checking out the British Museum and exploring Brick Lane's vibrant food scene. The hotel was decent, friendly staff, and a comfortable space for our group, though just a heads up, the breakfast can get busy at peak times.
